Corrosion Carbon/Coke Breeze - Matcarb CCP

Matcarb CCP (Corrosion Carb Premium) possesses the best chemical composition when compared to any of the carbonaceous products available for Cathodic Protection applications, other than the conventional petroleum based cokes. Corrosion Carb Premium is manufactured from a very unique pitch feed derived from the process of converting coal to oil. The uniqueness of the feed is borne out in the exceptional high carbon, low ash and sulphur levels and hence a very high level of conductivity and low resistivity.

We are also suppliers of NMT® Electrodes Mixed Metal Oxide and Platinised Titanium Anodes in CP systems which provide a cost-effective solution to the problem of steel structures succumbing to environmental stresses resulting in surface corrosion by making the steel structure the cathode of an electrochemical cell. By designing these anodes either into planned new structures or installing them into existing projects, corrosion can be mitigated against.

Outstanding features:

  • the consistecy of quality is guaranteed
  • low ash and high carbon content
  • very low sulphur content, therefore less impurities
  • low resistivity
  • low iron and heavy metal content is good for the environment
  • very low level of impurities, such as phosphorous
  • excellent mechanical strength, ensuring material does not break easily under pressure
  • can be poured or pumped into a deep-well
  • good partical size distribution

Coke fines

Produced from high quality anthracite. Used in the production of carbon based ramming materials.

Natural Flake Graphite

Natural flake graphite is a type of crystalline graphite that forms through the metamorphism of carbon-rich rocks under high pressure and temperature conditions.

Flake graphite typically has high carbon content, making it suitable for various industrial applications.

Used in the production of refractory materials due to its high thermal resistance.

Synthetic Graphite

Synthetic graphite is produced from recycling used graphite electrodes and used graphite blocks, which are sourced from various production facilities.
